This is a used Satake model RM dual stage roll rice polisher/whitener. Machine uses a set of similar abrasive rollers to whiten/polish 3 to 4 tons an hour of rice. The vertical nature of the machine helps reduce floor space. The rollers are powered by two identical 30 hp motors which are mounted on their own stands independent of the milling machine. Included is the operators manual which explains the various adjustments such as the blower regulating valve, flow rate knob and weight resistors. Machine is an older model but is in good mechanical and physical condition with no obvious faults. We have not run the machine under load but turning the shafts by hand does not indicate any problems.
