This is a used fluoroscopy X-ray cabinet for performing 2D NDT inspections on large circuit boards, light castings and other parts.  The system is comprised of a 160kV x-ray source, a 6 axis manipulator positioning system, controllers, power supplies and lead shielded cabinet.  The main characteristic of this inspection system is a very large cabinet with a relatively low power X-ray source which makes the system a good fit for very large circuit boards or aluminum castings.

The overall condition of the machine is very good.  The machine will need a PC with the GE software installed to be operational.  The prior owner of the machine removed the PC for security reasons.  GE has informed us that there would be no problem getting the new PC and still fully supports the machine and could install the PC for the buyer.

GE came to our facility and retrofitted a new window shield to satisfy a safety recall and as part of this procedure powered up the X-ray system with their diagnostic software.  The x-ray tube was determined to be fully operational with the diagnostic software and the chamber displayed no radiation leaks.  There were no faults visible with the positioning controllers and with the addition of the controlling PC there is no reason the machine would not be fully operational.

Included is a transformer that converts 230V to the european 400V to drive the machine.  Also included is the manual.
