This is a used portable smart dry mini-environment chamber with HEPA filtering in near new condition. The unit was made by Chemical Safety Technology and called a model CST-2/3-MEN Smart N2 Desiccator. This dry box uses compressed nitrogen to provide a purge which drys the chamber while the built-in HEPA filter mounted on top of the unit continuously filters the internal air. The system is also portable with due to the space for the nitrogen bottle storage and onboard UPS backup power so the unit can be unplugged and wheeled down the hall while maintaining a specific humidity level.
This is a highly optioned desiccator cabinet due to the HEPA filtration, stainless steel construction, battery backup system and onboard nitrogen capability for portability. Unit is in excellent used condition and was powered up to test functions and works well. The user interface on the mini controller is simple to use. The user simply sets the desired nitrogen level and the unit injects the proper level of nitrogen to maintain the humidity level.
