This is a used Tri-Max 5100 twin agent self contained fire fighting system made by Crash Rescue Equipment Service. System uses on-board compressed nitrogen bottles to propel the dry-chem and AFFF material through the hoses and through the dual nozzle gun. The dry-chem tank can hold 500 lbs of PKW material and the aqueous foam material is stored in a 100 gallon tank. Hose reel holds 100 ft of twinned hose that can be manually wound-up or powered by a DC motor. Two 400 cu ft nitrogen bottles are mounted on the sides of the skid. System is self contained on a steel skid that can be mounted on a truck.
Unit was originally made in 2007 and was recently refurbished with new regulators and all new hoses except the twin hose. The foam system was partially tested with shop air and water instead of the high pressure bottles and foam but it worked well the way it was tested. Two high pressure bottles will be included but they should be hydrotested and one needs a new valve.
