This is a used gear reducer made by Falk, model 175WB2A. We tested this using a 1/3 hp motor, and it sounded as it should, even with a small load on the shaft. The input shaft seal needs to be replaced, see below for seal part number.

  • This unit needs the input shaft seal replaced. This was discovered when turning it onto the C face flange. It still had a large amount of lubricant in it.
  • Seal needed: Chicago Rawhide p/n CR6316
  • Includes pictured coupling for 5/8" shaft
  • Output RPM: 58 @ 1750 RPM input
