This is an unused P.I.V. drive chain made by PIV Antrieb Werner Reimers (now PIV Drives) , model ER 30.64, part number 714-0506-490414. There are some places on the chains that had rust which we cleaned off leaving a fine etched surface. The rust was limited to the outside surface of the links and did not affect the inside linkage. The rust was on roughly 5-8 of the links. These are most likely the last readily available round PIV chains in the world. We were quoted a replacement cost of over $5000 for these chains.
