THIS LENS IS CURVED ON BOTH SIDES. ONE SIDE IS OBVIOUSLY CURVED AND CAN EASILY BE SEEN IN THE PHOTOS BUT THE SIDE THAT APPEARS FLAT IS ACTUALLY MILDLY CURVED OUTWARD SO THIS IS A DOUBLE CONVEX LENS.
This is a large glass double convex lens. There may be small chips on the outside edge of the lens, and an occasional light scratch on the surface. There are some very small bubbles in the lens that can not be seen in the photos. This lens has a convex radius on both sides with one radius being greater than the other. Very large lens, can start fires using the sun in seconds. Works well as a magnifier.
