This is a used 8000lb-f Unholtz Dickie electrodynamic vibration system in excellent operating condition. The system includes the main shaker, slip table, oil system, field power supply, SAI30 amplifier and all interconnecting cables. The unit was tested with a signal generator and it works well. It is obvious this unit was used very lightly and everything from the paint to the mounting surfaces are in very good condition.
This is a H series shaker head with a 24" armature that is mounted on a slip flame with a 48" x 48" slip table. The amplifier is a 30 amp unit which results in a system rating of 7500 lbs Sine and 8000 lb random. The stroke is 2" and the automatic pneumatic leveling system can support a payload of 1500lbs. The vibration base can support the shaker in the vertical position or the shaker can be rotated 90 degrees with a socket wrench into the horizontal position. Once in the horizontal position, a driver bar(bull nose) is used to mechanically connect the shaker to the slip plate. The slip plate sits on top of a granite table and slides on a film of oil that is delivered with the oil pump. The field power supply is a separate control box that is mounted on the wall near the shaker.
We tested the they system with a signal generator and it worked well. The pneumatic system raised the shaker on the airbags to the proper height and the pneumatic armature alignment system properly raised and lowered the armature depending on the weight that is placed on the shaker.
We have two of these systems available with the difference being one is setup for vertical operation with a head expander but no bull nose and the other is setup for horizontal operation with a bull nose and no expander. Both systems have all cables and original manuals and drawings. Both systems need 15 HP blowers and a vibration controller package of your choice.
