This is an UNUSED Williams, White & Co 4 column up-acting hydraulic press that is still in the original crate.  The system consists of a floor mounted 125 ton 4 post platen press and a hydraulic/control skid that sits next to the press when assembled.  The 12"x 12" platens are heated with steam that is controlled with a steam control valve and the PLC to regulate the temperature.  The entire system is PLC controlled and the operator enters the parameters on the HMI touch screen.  

  The press can be operated in a manual mode/inch mode or in cycle mode.  In inch mode the press closes to the set pressure while the operator is holding the palm buttons.  In cycle mode the press can be programmed to hold  setpoint 1 for dwell time 1, then automatically release after  the time has elapsed and this can happen for setpoint 2 and dwell time 2 as well.  There can also be up to 5 breath steps programmed in the cycle that could be based on position or tonnage.  There is also a pre-breath cycle available.  Pressure is controlled via a Vickers EHST 4-20mA electronic valve so any press tonnage up to 125 tons can be accurately achieved.  The platen position is monitored with a Temposonics 4-20mA linear transducer for accurate position measurement.  

  This is a very capable modern automatic up-acting press that could be used for molding or laminating.  System was build in 2019 and was never taken out of the original crates.  We powered the PLC to ensure the control system was responsive and everything was working as it should.
