This is a very large high force intermediate trunnion mount MTS actuator.  The unit has a 14" bore, 3000PSI pressure rating which results in a force rating of 346 KIP.  The cylinder was made by Milwaukee Cylinder Corp for MTS.  The Milwaukee Cylinder Corporation supplied us with the print as shown in the photo.   Force was calculated from pressure and piston area minus bore area. Actuator rod can be manually pushed in and out by human power and the chrome rod piston is in good condition.  The end of the rod has some galling as can be seen in the photo.  The internal threads however are in good condition.
