This listing is for a used 64 carrier Wardwell Harness Braider that was never put into production. With 64 carriers of thread this machine can produce wire harnesses larger than 1 1/2". Wire harnesses can be over braided with textile, synthetic thread, or wire. The machine is very well built and contains many useful standard and optional features. The carrier enclosure is well covered with insulated walls and a plexiglass top. The optional motorized capstan is driven by a variable speed motor for accurate braid coverage. The control panel has many parameters that can be adjusted including acceleration rates, speed, counters, pitch and more.
We tested the machine without any thread and all of the systems work well. The varaible speed foot pedal varies the speed to the drive motors smoothly. The HMI screen controls the speed of the capstan along with other parameters. The machine was never used and shows 0 hours on the elapsed runtime meter and shows no wear on any componenets.
