This is a Compacting Technologies in-drum compactor for compacting hazardous waste. The unit features a liquid removal option that reclaims any liquid that is in the bottom of the drum as it is being compacted. The unit is heavy duty and very well made. We tested the unit and all of the features worked such as the automatic mode and manual mode.
Once automatic mode is started with the push button the ram starts moving down until it reaches the bottom of the stroke. Depending which position the "pause" selector is in, the ram will either pause for one second or a few before it begins to raise back up to finish the stroke.
Unit was fully tested and all functions work well. The unit is in very good used condition and very clean for a compactor.
