This is a used x ray film viewer made by Control Research Inc, model 161-001 Rolloscope MD. The viewer holds 100 rows of X-ray film on a motorized rotating belt and features motorized shutter screens to narrow down the viewing area. Moving the rotating belt can be done incrementally with up and down buttons or you can jump to a specific row by entering a row number (0-99) into the digital readout and the belt will rotate to the row. There are motorized shutters that move in from all four edges of the viewing area and a toggle switch for each shutter to move it in and out. If the "auto" mode is selected, the screen position is saved for each row so the next time you come back to that row the screens will automatically go to the saved position. We tested most of the machines functions and it works very well. This is a very well built machine and is in very good condition.
